
In this blog I have highlighted the best places around Perth to get beautiful Perth City Views.
Goolugatup Heathcote Reserve
Located in Applecross just 10 minutes from Perth CBD. To get there you can take public transport, Cycle from the city or drive and park at Heath cote Reserve. It is a short walk along the river to one of the best views of the Perth City.



Sir James Mitchell Park- South Perth
Park at the Coode Jetty. The South Perth Foreshore walk is a 4.8km return walk and allow an hour. You can also cycle along the trail.




Wireless Hill Park Lookout
Located near Heathcote reserve in Applecross is Wireless Hill park. Head up the lookout for a beautiful view over Perth or take a walk through the park.

Kings Park Botanic Garden
There is a few view points you can get amazing views looking over Perth City. The main view point is Kaarta Gar-up or the State War Memorial. Park at Wadjuk carpark. You can also walk here from Perth city which is 2.1km and a 30 minute walk or a 13 minute ride. Whilst your here it’s also worth walking along the Lotterywest federation walk way to Dryandra lookout. It’s a beautiful walk with amazing views along the way. Take more of a look at the walking trail’s around the park here.




Lake Monger
Is located 5km from Perth CBD once at Lake Monger there is a circuit around the lake which is a 3.7km loop.


Millers Pool near Narrows Bridge
Millers Pool is located just across from Elizabeth Quay with beautiful city views. It is a great place to have a picnic away from the city by the river.



Reabold Hill Summit Lookout
Is located 10km from Perth CBD. Once you have admired the views from the top take the Zamia 5km loop around the park.



Eagle View Lookout
Located in the John Forest National park which is located 25km from Perth CBD. You can park just off Peachy Road to get up to the Eagle View Lookout. The trail is 2km return. The trail isn’t well signed I do recommend getting All Trails to follow the trail.
